CinemaAttic CIC
Role: Captioning and subtitling.
The Cinemaattic Collective is a wonderful project dedicated to bringing Latin and Iberian Spanish-speaking cinema to English speakers. I collaborate with them by ensuring that the content they provide is accessible for those who benefit from seeing closed captions on screen.
Riqueni (2023)
Role: Translation and subtitling.
I was honoured to participate in Paco Bech's most recent documentary film Riqueni. I transcribed the film, translated it, and then created the subtitles (both in English and in Spanish), and also created the Spanish captions. This was my first-ever project and I greatly enjoyed working in close proximity with the director in order to procure a quality product which was faithful to the original material.
